Die Autobahn A 40 (Genf-Lyon) bei deren Abbiegen in Richtung Paris in Richtung Lyon verlassen. Nun 10 km auf der A 42 Richtung Lyon, um sie über die D 77E zu verlassen. Vor Amberieu (en Bugey) kommt man auf die N 75, fährt auf dieser nach Süden. 9 km weiter fährt man über Rhone und biegt kurz danach in Richtung Osten ab. Am linken Ufer geht es Rhone 5,5 km aufwärts. Hier verlassen wir die N 75 und queren nach Villebois auf der anderen Rhoneseite. Hier parken wir in der Nähe der Kirche.

Von der Kirche folgen wir dem Feldweg in nördlicher,später nordöstlicher Richtung bergauf. Wir queren einen anderen Weg und gehen nun auf einem Pfad, bis eine Tafel auf den Canyon Rhéby hinweist. Wir gehen den Pfad weiter, er schwenkt über einen Seitenbach. Weiter über eine Waldlichtung in nördlicher Richtung kommen wir zum Einstieg.

We continue along the path as it swings over a side stream. Continuing north across a clearing in the forest, we reach the entry point.

Partis derrière un groupe de 3 (véhicule immatriculé en Allemagne) on a bien géré mais la dernière cascade pose problème avec ce débit si le leader ne maîtrise pas parfaitement la précision du rappel sous peine de passer sous la cascade ou de finir au pied dans pouvoir en sortir. Il faut partir depuis un maillon rapide sur monopoint le plus à droite pour se décaler au maximum et espérer éviter d'être embarqué vers la cascade. Rappel guidé pour les suivants. Magnifique canyon avec ce débit. Arodin et trefond-pernaz faits le matin, avec encore plus d'eau.
