Vom beim Ausstieg abgestellten Fahrzeug wieder 100m zurück zu der letzten Verzweigung und nun dem Wegweiser 'source petrifiante/Trou Blanc' auf dem "GR R 1 Variante" folgend die Abhänge hoch über dem Riviere du Mat queren. Vor Erreichen der Häuser von Trou Blanc eröffnen sich bei einem Kreuz am Wegesrand 2 Zustiegsmöglichkeiten: Entweder rechts hinab und dann dem links abbiegenden Pfad folgen zur Einstieg bei 'R1-bis' über eine 50 m hohe senkrechte Felswand mit Umsteiger in der Senkrechten (10/40 - hängend!). Oder man geht geradeaus bis zu den Häusern, nimmt dort den rechts abzweigenden Weg hinunter zum Rivier du Mat, wo man nach ca. 300 m im Bachbett zum Abseiler 'R1' kommt. Höchster Abseiler ist in diesem Fall 18m, sofern man in der Bachsohle bleibt. Die Wahl des Zustiegs entscheidet sich danach, ob der Wasserdurchsatz eine Begehung der an R1 anschließenden attraktiven Engstelle zulässt. Die ortsansässigen Guides raten im Zweifelsfall zum Zustieg über 'R1-bis' und gehen diesen in aller Regel auch selbst.
From the vehicle parked at the exit, return 100m to the last fork and now follow the signpost 'source petrifiante/Trou Blanc' on the "GR R 1 variant", crossing the slopes high above the Riviere du Mat. Before reaching the houses of Trou Blanc, there are 2 access options at a cross on the side of the path: Either descend to the right and then follow the path turning left to the entry at 'R1-bis' over a 50 m high vertical rock face with a transfer in the vertical (10/40 - hanging!). Or go straight on to the houses, then take the path branching off to the right down to the Rivier du Mat, where you come to the rappel 'R1' after approx. 300 m in the streambed. The highest rappel in this case is 18m, provided you stay in the streambed. The choice of access depends on whether the water flow allows an ascent of the attractive narrow section following R1. In case of doubt, the local guides recommend access via 'R1-bis' and usually do this themselves.

Oberer Teil wurde leider durch einen Felssturz zerstört. Man steigt jetzt ca. 10m vor dem Wegkreuz beim Zustieg ein (40m Abseiler kurz vor erstem Notausstieg).
Zustiegsdauer in der Beschreibung stimmt nicht. Normale Zustiegszeit beträgt 30-40 min.
Tour an sich top! Pools alle sehr tief und fast alle Stellen können mehrfach wiederholt werden (Seile zum hochklettern vorhanden). Teilweise sehr rutschige stellen
The upper part was unfortunately destroyed by a rockfall. You now enter about 10m before the crossroads at the access (40m rappel just before the first emergency exit).
The approach time in the description is not correct. Normal ascent time is 30-40 minutes.
Tour itself top! Pools all very deep and almost all places can be repeated several times (ropes available for climbing up). Partly very slippery places
