Von Livo aus auf schlechter Piste Richtung Crotti Dangri fahren (ca. 2km ab Friedhof). Die Straße ist kostenpflichtig, Ticketautomat am Ortseingang von Livo. Parken vor der Brücke über den Fluss. Im Sommer sichert frühes Kommen einen der wenigen Plätze.

From Livo, take the rough road toward Crotti Dangri (about 2 km from the cemetery). There is a toll on this road; the ticket machine is located at the entrance to Livo. Park in front of the bridge over the river. In the summer, arriving early ensures you’ll get one of the few parking spots.

Über die beiden Brücken unterhalb der Häuser Crotto Dangri laufen. Nach wenigen Minuten den zweiten Abzweiger nach links hoch nehmen Richtung Provego (Achtung, ist nicht ausgeschildert). Die überwiegend verlassene Ansiedlung durchqueren, kurz danach ist die Metallbrücke über den Bachlauf erreicht. Hier beginnt die Tour.

Walk across the two bridges below the Crotto Dangri houses. After a few minutes, take the second turnoff to the left heading uphill toward Provego (note: this is not signposted). Cross through the largely abandoned settlement; shortly afterward, you’ll reach the metal bridge over the stream. This is where the tour begins.

Der Canyon wurde nur minimalistisch eingerichtet, wir haben die ersten drei Stufen vom Brückengeländer abgeseilt (ca 25 m). Insbesondere zu Beginn haben wir soweit möglich Bäume am Ufer oder über dem Fluss liegendes Totholz zum Abseilen genutzt, OHNE Seilschlingen zurückzulassen. Der eine oder andere Baum liegt dabei hoch über dem Bachbett und muss angeklettert werden. Zu Anfang wirkt die Tour sehr offen und nur kurze Wasserfälle warten auf Begeher. Achtung, viele davon werden kombiniert in einem Stück abgeseilt. Nach einer kurzen Laufstrecke von ca. 100m verengt sich der Bach zu einer kleinen Schlucht, ohne allzu speziellen Charakter zu präsentieren. Nach einer weiteren kurzen Gehstrecke von 50m, rücken die Felswände bis auf wenige Meter zusammen und wir befinden uns in einem echten Canyon. Nach einigen sehr schönen Passagen endet die Tour an der Wasserableitung.

The canyon was set up in a minimalist fashion; we rappelled down the first three steps from the bridge railing (about 25 m). Especially at the beginning, we used trees on the bank or deadwood lying across the river for rappelling whenever possible, WITHOUT leaving any rope loops behind. Some of the trees are located high above the streambed and must be climbed. At the start, the route feels very open, with only short waterfalls awaiting hikers. Caution: many of these are rappelled in a single continuous descent. After a short walk of about 100 m, the stream narrows into a small canyon, without presenting anything particularly distinctive. After another short walking passage of 50 meters, the rock walls close in to just a few meters apart, and we find ourselves in a true canyon. After several very beautiful sections, the tour exits at the water diversion.

Die Wasserableitung nach rechts verlassen, auf der darunter liegenden Brücke kann man den Neopren ausziehen, der Rückweg erfolgt nach orografisch rechts und trifft schnell auf die Brücken bei Crotto Dangri.

Leave the drainage channel on the right; on the bridge below, you can take off your wetsuit. The return route follows the orographic right and soon reaches the bridges at Crotto Dangri.

Trotz des kleinen Einzugsgebietes ist bei Regenfällen Vorischt geboten, das Gebiet ist sehr steil und reicht bis auf 2100m. Insgesamt ergießen sich 5 Wasserläufe in die Tour.

Despite the small watershed, caution is advised during rainfall; the area is very steep and extends up to 2,100 meters. A total of five streams flow into the trail.
