A hiking path goes up next to the canyon, once it gets flat, it's time to go through the forest towards the canyon.

It starts big, 80m to be precise. After this is some little boulder walking, before reaching the black hole, another 30m pitch that ends in almost complete darkness. Some more little parts before getting to the last section. Beware of the pool before the last 45m rappel, it has quite a serious flush over.

After the 45m one go out on the right side, and walk back down on the hiking path.

Der war bei mir ziemlich weit oben auf der Liste der Bäche die ich in Neuseeland machen will, und bin sehr froh hat es geklappt, auch wenn ohne wirklich guten Fotos weil Leo's Handy davor kaputt gegangen ist, und in meins Wasser eingedrungen ist. Bach war rutschig, aber nicht störend beim Abseilen, und bei dem grandiosen Anblick ist das schnell vergessen.
It was pretty high up on my list of streams I want to do in New Zealand, and I'm very glad it worked out, even if without any really good photos because Leo's cell phone broke beforehand and water got into mine. The creek was slippery, but not disturbing during the rappel, and with the magnificent view this is quickly forgotten.
