Ausstiegsparkplatz: Von Tolmezzo aus nehmen Sie die SS 52bis in Richtung „Passo di Monte Croce Carnico – Paluzza”. Nachdem Sie die Ortschaft Paluzza passiert haben, fahren Sie noch etwa zwei Kilometer weiter und parken in einer kleinen Parkbucht auf der linken Seite. Der Endwasserfall ist von hier aus sichtbar. Einstiegsparkplatz: Fahren Sie weiter in Richtung Paluzza und biegen Sie unmittelbar nach der ersten Rechtskurve links in Richtung Noiaris ab. Am Dorfplatz angekommen, biegen Sie links in die Via Ramajor ein und folgen Sie dieser bis zu einem Schild, das die Durchfahrt verbietet. Parken Sie Ihr Auto in der Nähe eines Hauses.

Parking exit: From Tolmezzo, take the SS 52bis in the direction of "Passo di Monte Croce Carnico - Paluzza". After passing the village of Paluzza, continue for about two kilometers and park in a small parking bay on the left. The final waterfall is visible from here. Parking entry: Continue towards Paluzza and turn left towards Noiaris immediately after the first right-hand bend. Once you reach the village square, turn left into Via Ramajor and follow it until you see a sign prohibiting passage. Park your car near a house.

Kurz auf der Forststraße aufwärts, dann nach links den rot-weißen Markierungen vom Wanderweg CAI Nr. 159 folgen. Am Wanderweg (anfangs neue Forststraße) bis auf Höhe 1030 folgen, hier auf einem undeutlichen Steig zu den Ruinen vom Stavolo Ronchiai aufsteigen. Hier entweder gleich in den Waldgraben absteigen (2? Abseiler, viel abklettern) oder am Schluchtrand den Möglichkeiten folgend absteigen bis zu einer Einebnung bevor das Gelände entgültig steil und felsig wird (N 48°4860276, E 12° 98902). Hier 2x von Bäumen abseilen (30m & 25m), Man landet dann oberhalb vom letzten 8m Wasserfall im Rio Ronchiai

Climb briefly up the forest road, then follow the red and white markings of hiking trail CAI no. 159 to the left. Follow the hiking trail (initially a new forest road) up to altitude 1030, then ascend on an indistinct path to the ruins of Stavolo Ronchiai. Here either descend into the forest canyon (2? rappels, lots of downclimbing) or follow the canyon rim down to a level before the terrain finally becomes steep and rocky (N 48°4860276, E 12° 98902). Here rappel 2x from trees (30m & 25m), you will end up above the last 8m waterfall in Rio Ronchiai

Nach dem letzten Wasserfall geht es weiter über das Flussbett und dann durch den Wald am linken Ufer, bis man eine verwachsene Forststraße erreicht, über die Forstraße bis zum Flussbett des But absteigen. Hier sollte man nach einer Stelle suchen, an der man den Fluss am besten durchwaten kann. Sobald man das gegenüberliegende Ufer erreicht hat, gelangt man zur Staatsstraße und damit zum Auto.

After the last waterfall, continue across the riverbed and then through the forest on the left bank until you reach an overgrown forest road, descend along the forest road to the riverbed of the But. Here you should look for the best place to ford the river. As soon as you reach the opposite bank, you reach the main road and your car.
