Von Frankreich durch den Tunnel von Bielsa kommend, durchfährt man 2,5 km nach Ende des Tunnels eine markante S-Kurve. Etwa 100 m danach geht es über den Rio Barrosa. Direkt nach der Brücke am Beginn eines Forstwegs Auto abstellen. Von der span. Seite über Barbastro und Ainsa, vorbei an Bielsa kommend erreicht man diesen Ausgangspunkt etwa 1100 m nach der alten span. Grenzstation

Man folgt dem Forstweg bergan, zuerst eine Rechtskurve, später eine Linkskurve. Nach der letzteren geht es steiler bergauf. Dort, wo der Weg wieder etwas abflacht, auf Trittspuren rechts hinunter zum Bach.
