From Castejon de Sos in the Valle de Benasque we take the A-139 south towards Graus, Barbastro. After 7 km, at the houses of La Catalana, we turn right on HU-V-6411 and go up to Barbaruens ( 8.3 km) via Seira . 100 m before reaching the village, we turn left onto a dirt road that goes uphill, sometimes steeply. At a junction (about 2.8 km from Barbaruens) we turn right and after about 1 km we come to a hiking trail that branches off to the left (GR 15 - Steinmänchen). Here we park our car.

We take the trail (red/white markings) that goes up parallel to the Barranco Bilsé to the east. We cross 2, mostly dry, streambeds and later climb steeply uphill. At the top, the trail flattens out and we come to a prominent 3-trunked deciduous tree. Here we leave the path and look northeast of it for the entry into the Barranco Bilsé.\nYou can also continue a little further on the, path until it crosses the streambed and enter there.

7 rappels, varied descent, running routes and downclimbs. The water flow gradually decreases. Optional 45 m rappel at the end, see "way back".

After the 12m rappel and a 5m step that is climbed, we come to a path that crosses the streambed (1420m old). We take this path to the right and walk down the access path to the car. Alternatively, you can continue along the Barranco Bilsé and immediately come to a 43m rappel (from a tree). Then walk down the streambed for about 500 m to reach the track that crosses the streambed. Follow this to the right to the car. In this case 2x50m of ropes are needed.
