From Barbastro in the direction of Alquézar. After about 20 km on the newly expanded A-1232 at the junction at the bridge of the Rio Vero (beyond the bridge Camping Rio Vero) turn right and continue on the A-2205 via Colungo in the direction of Arcusa, Ainsa. The road now winds curvaceously northward. One crosses the Bco Palomeras Fornocal (8.1 km from Rio Vero - bridge) and reaches a few hundred meters further the Puente de las Gargantas over the Rio Fornocal. The route continues with many bends. After 15.7 km (from Rio Vero) we pass the parking lot for the access to the Fornocal), after 16.7 km we arrive at the parking lot above the Portiacha. But we continue 1.4 km to the parking lot on the left of the road, where we leave our car.

On a clear path down to the Rio Vero, on the bridge structure to the other bank and left up the slope above the Rio Vero. The path describes a bend to the right and approaches "our" Bco. Over boulders it goes left down to the entry.

7 rappel in homogeneous ambience. Visually attractive the last rappel down to the Rio Vero. Through narrow stone corridor it goes forward to the first rappels --> R3 (r.) --> R10 (r.) --> short walking passage --> R4 (r.)(E3 spreading technique) --> short walking passage --> R10 (r.) in narrower canyon section --> walking section --> big hall with rappel point R10 (li.) --> walking passage in nicely hollowed rock vaults --> R10 (r.) --> long walking passage in vegetation-rich terrain --> short rappel R4 (r.) (can also be rappelled) --> short walking passage to the last rappel point R15 (l.) with nice rock vaults --> after a short walking passage you meet the Rio Vero.
