Downstream Access From the A26 highway, exit at Piedimulera and head towards Macugnaga, driving up Valle Anzasca. After Molini, shortly before the turn-off for Calasca, turn left downhill and cross the Anza river over a bridge. Park shortly after in a meadow on the right. Upstream Access Return to the main road and continue to Pontegrande. In the village, turn left towards Bannio Anzino. Further ahead, at a hairpin bend, turn left again towards Anzino. Reach the village and park in the square.

Walk back along the road and take a small road on the right, shortly before the hairpin bend. A bit further on, it becomes a mule track and descends to a bridge over the stream, which is the starting point. Approach Without Shuttle: from the downstream parking area, take the small road on the right and climb towards Anzino, passing the alpine pastures of Motta di Tanc and Pianaccia, remaining on the true right bank of the stream, until reaching the starting bridge (unverified).

10mm stainless steel expansion bolts (Fix inox 10) and a few remaining French-style chain anchors. The first rappel is not equipped and needs to be rigged on natural anchors. The last two rappels pose significant rope-retrieval issues.

After the last rappels, the canyon opens up significantly. Continue for a stretch among the boulders until you spot a faint trail on the right (some orange paint marks) and reach a meadow with a few cabins. Walk down through the meadow to reach the car.
