Vom Parkplatz auf dem Schotterweg weiter zur Stallenalm (1340m Höhe). Nun nehmen wir den Wanderweg über die Graf-Thun-Hütte hinauf Richtung Naudersalm. Wir kommen hinauf zum Rizuelhals (1943m Höhe), wo sich der Wanderweg verzweigt. Wenn man im Naudersbach einsteigen will, noch etwas hinuntergehen und dann rechts hinab durch Latschen ins Bachbett absteigen. Für den Einstieg im interessanteren Gamsbach (ca. 30min weiter) noch über den Rücken hinter der Naudersalm wandern, und ebenfalls durch Latschen den besten Pfad zum ersten Abseiler suchen (brüchige, ca. 25m hohe Stufe - neuer Stand 2022 links eingebohrt)

From the parking lot, continue on the gravel path to the Stallenalm (1340m altitude). Now we take the hiking trail via the Graf-Thun-Hütte up towards the Naudersalm. We come up to the Rizuelhals (1943m altitude), where the hiking trail branches off. If you want to enter the Naudersbach, descend a little further and then descend to the right through mountain pines into the streambed. For the entry in the more interesting Gamsbach (approx. 30min further on), hike over the ridge behind the Naudersalm and also look for the best path through mountain pines to the first rappel (brittle, approx. 25m high steps - new level 2022 drilled in on the left).

Der Naudersbach beginnt mit vielen kleinen Stufen zum Abklettern, und wird erst kurz vor dem Zusammenfluss mit dem Gamsbach eingeschnitten (nur wenige Abseilstellen). Der Gamsbach ist länger und interessanter, man findet an einer Stelle wunderschöne riesengroße versteinerte Schnecken. Bis zum Zusammenfluss sind es jeweils ca. 1,5 - 2h. Danach beginnt die wunderschön eng und tief eingeschnittene Gamsgartenklamm, die man in ca. 3-4h bewältigt. Im Lauf der Schlucht sorgen immer wieder Zuflüsse von der Seite für stetig mehr Wasser. Aufgrund des langen Zustiegs, der Länge der Tour und der Abgeschiedenheit sollten nur erfahrene Gruppen bei guter Planung, besten Bedingungen und mit guter Ausrüstung die Gamsgartenklamm machen!

The Naudersbach begins with many small steps for downclimbing, and is only cut into shortly before the confluence with the Gamsbach (only a few abseiling points). The Gamsbach is longer and more interesting, at one point you can find beautiful giant fossilized snails. It takes about 1.5 - 2 hours to reach the confluence. After that, the beautifully narrow and deep Gamsgartenklamm gorge begins, which takes about 3-4 hours to complete. During the walk through the canyon, tributaries from the side provide more and more water. Due to the long access, the length of the tour and the remoteness, only experienced groups with good planning, the best conditions and good equipment should do the Gamsgartenklamm!

Variante 1) Wo Gamsgartenbach und Stallenbach zusammenfließen, weglos am gegenüberliegenden steilen Hang fast 200 Höhenmeter hinauf, bis man auf einen kleinen Pfad Richtung Bärenrast trifft. Variante 2) Dem Stallenbach flussabwärts folgen, an einer Geschiebesperre vorbei, bis zur Brücke. Von dort der Beschilderung Richtung Bärenrast folgen (angenehmer Wanderweg bergauf). Für beide Varianten braucht man ca. 45-60min, wobei die zweite Variante deutlich weniger anstrengend ist.

Option 1) Where the Gamsgartenbach and Stallenbach rivers converge, hike off-trail up the steep slope on the opposite side for nearly 200 Höhenmeter until you reach a small trail leading toward Bärenrast. Option 2) Follow the Stallenbach downstream, past a debris barrier, to the bridge. From there, follow the signs toward Bärenrast (a pleasant uphill hiking trail). Both routes take about 45–60 minutes, though the second route is significantly less strenuous.
