Die Autobahn von Imperia in Richtung Frankreich bei Ventimiglia verlassen und auf der SS 1 (Aurelia) wieder in Richtung Osten nach Imperia. Ca. 2 km nach Ventimiglia zweigt links in Richtung Norden eine Straße an nach Dolceacqua.
Dieser folgt man über Isolabona, Pigna und dann links haltend bis zu dem schon lange ausgeschilderten Ort Buggio. Am Ortseingang auf dem Parkplatz parken.
Leave the highway from Imperia towards France at Ventimiglia and take the SS 1 (Aurelia) back east towards Imperia. Approx. 2 km after Ventimiglia, a road branches off to the left heading north towards Dolceacqua.
Follow this road via Isolabona, Pigna and then keep left until you reach the village of Buggio, which has long been signposted. Park in the parking lot at the entrance to the village.

Vom Parkplatz direkt hoch durch das mittelalterliche Dorf bis man wieder auf die Fahrstraße stößt. Dieser folgt man in rechter Richtung weiter ansteigend, bis in eine fast 180-Grad-Kurve. In dieser Kurve zweigt rechterhand ein Pfad über eine kleine Steintreppe ab und führt in den Taleinschnitt des Buggio. Der Weg scheint sich manchmal zu verlieren (bei einer Verzweigung besser links halten, aber der rechte Pfad führt auch wieder auf den Hauptweg), wird aber dann wieder deutlich. Diesem folgt man immer am Rande der Schlucht entlang. Nach dem kleinen verblassten Schild, welches einen Vogel abbildet, gelangt man nahe an den Bach. Deutliche Steigspuren führen dann schnell hinunter zum Bachbett.
Am Einstieg ist ein Metallschild auf einem Stein montiert (Regeln des Abstiegs).
From the parking lot, head straight up through the medieval village until you reach the road again. Follow this road in a right-hand direction uphill until you come to an almost 180-degree bend. At this bend, a path branches off to the righthand side via a small stone staircase and leads into the Buggio valley. The path sometimes seems to get lost (it is better to keep left at a fork, but the path on the right also leads back to the main path), but then becomes clear again. Follow this path along the edge of the canyon. After the small faded signs depicting a bird, you come close to the stream. Clear climbing tracks then quickly lead down to the streambed.
At the entry point there is a metal sign mounted on a stone (rules of descent).

Ergänzung zur Beschreibung "Canyons in Ligurie II": Der zweite Abseiler ist höher als 15 m. Der 7-m-Abseiler ist ein Überhang, hier geht es voll durch den Strahl, bei hohem Wasserstand nicht machbar. Ein Sprung ist hier gefährlich: Absprungfläche ist glatt und ein Fels ragt, ohne dass es von oben zu erkennen ist, weit in das Becken rein. Ein Ausrutschen wäre fatal.
Nach dieser Schlüsselstelle ist die Klamm leicht, die Rutschen sollte man jedoch lieber abklettern.
Supplement to the description "Canyons in Liguria II": The second rappel is higher than 15 meters. The 7 m rappel is an overhang, here it goes fully through the beam, not feasible when the water level is high. A jump here is dangerous: the jump surface is smooth and a rock protrudes far into the pool without being visible from above. Slipping would be fatal.
After this key section, the gorge is easy, but it is better to downclimb the slides.

Belle découverte eau limpide roche magnifique on en mangerai bien quelques heures de plus 1h30 sans se presser croisé personne départ 17 h quasiment pas de soleil mais ça vaut le détour afterwork pour bien commencer le week end sortie évidente rive droite après le poteau vers le village première à droite après la ruine on récupere vite la route
