Von Saint-André geht es auf der D48 in Richtung Salazie, Hellbourg. Noch vor Erreichen der Ortschaft Salazie biegen wir von der D48 links ab und nehmen den Chemin Ilet aux Bananiers hinauf zum gleichnamigen Weiler. In einer markanten Rechtskurve beginnt die Straße wieder abzufallen. Links geht eine Piste ab. Hier stellen wir unser Auto am Rande der Straße ab.
From Saint-André, we take the D48 in the direction of Salazie, Hellbourg. Before reaching the village of Salazie, we turn left off the D48 and take the Chemin Ilet aux Bananiers up to the hamlet of the same name. In a prominent right-hand bend, the road begins to descend again. On the left there is a dirt road. Here we park our car at the side of the road.

Unterhalb der C50 (letzter Abseiler) noch ein paar Meter bachab nehmen wir dann den Zustiegsweg zurück zum Auto.
