Von Castejon de Sos im Valle de Benasque fahren wir auf der A-139 südwärts in Richtung Graus, Barbastro. Nach 7 km biegen wir bei den Häusern von La Catalana rechts ab auf die HU-V-6411 und fahren über Seira hinauf in Richtung Barbaruens. 6,3 km nach Überquerung des Rio Esera geht in einem langgezogenen Linksbogen rechts eine Forstpiste ab (Info-Tafeln). Hier parken wir unser Auto.
From Castejon de Sos in the Valle de Benasque, we head south on the A-139 towards Graus, Barbastro. After 7 km, we turn right at the houses of La Catalana onto the HU-V-6411 and drive up via Seira in the direction of Barbaruens. 6.3 km after crossing the Rio Esera, a forest road branches off to the right in a long left-hand bend (information boards). We park our car here.

Wir folgen der Forstpiste hinab zur Puente de la Saca, die den Barbaruens überspannt (Ausstiegsstelle). Hier kann man den Wasserdurchsatz sehen und beurteilen. Wir folgen dem Weg weiter und bleiben immer auf der Hauptspur. Wir queren sukzessive 3 kleine Zuflüsse der Aigueta de Barbaruens, dann halten wir bei einer Wegverzweigung links zum Bach (Einstieg).
We follow the forest road down to the Puente de la Saca, which spans the Barbaruens (exit point). Here you can see and assess the water flow. We continue along the path and always stay on the main track. We successively cross 3 small tributaries of the Aigueta de Barbaruens, then keep left at a fork in the path to the stream (entry point).

L'accès selon topo nous a pris 2h, le retour du pont de pierre une demi-heure. La descente autour de 4h, dont 1h30 de marche sur des rochers parfois glissants à la fin. Très beau cadre, mais marche fatigante.Ce site indique un accès différent par le village, jusqu'au pont. Je soupçonne que c'est un peu plus court.https://canyoning.pirineos-pyrenees.eu/barranco/7Sinon, le début du canyon est très chouette, mais il faut bien sonder avant les tobs ou les sauts.

DC-Belle ambiance.Les portions de marches sont agréables.RASParking à l'entrée du village de Barbaruens possible mais plus de dénivelé positif sur la marche retour que le parking conseillé dans la fiche description.Approche : pas d'intérêt de rester sur la piste jusqu'à ce qu'elle rejoigne le cours d'eau. Mieux vaut la quitter en prenant à gauche le sentier cairné après le 3ème affluent.

Pas de difficultés dans ces conditions. Eau un peu froide au début, mieux après. Un petit cairn indique le moment où il faut quitter la piste pour le sentier qui descend au départ. Pas utile de partir trop tôt pour profiter du soleil. Marche un peu longue à la fin mais à l'arrivée vasque avec tob et sauts à refaire à volonté.
