Vom Südende des Parkplatzes nehmen wir den Pfad, der - zeitweise läuft man auf einer Piste - hinaufzieht in die markante Scharte (800 m üNN).
Von der Scharte führt uns der Pfad im wesentlichen horizontal am Hang entlang nach Süden. Nun queren wir das breite Becken des Barranc de la Vall. Wir marschieren auf eine dunkle Felswand zu. Dort findet sich die Quelle Font (960 m üNN). Um den Fuß der Felswand herum steigen wir wieder an auf den nächsten vom Monte Caro herabziehenden Kamm (980 m üNN). Jenseits hinunter und wir sind am Einstieg zum Caramella.

From the southern end of the parking lot, we take the path - at times walking on a slope - up to the striking saddle (800 m above sea level).
From the saddle, the path leads us mainly horizontally along the slope to the south. Now we cross the wide basin of the Barranc de la Vall. We walk towards a dark rock face. There you will find the Font spring (960 m above sea level). Around the foot of the rock face we climb up again to the next ridge coming down from Monte Caro (980 m a.s.l.). Down the other side and we are at the entry to the Caramella.

Gegen Ende erwartet uns im "Gran Circ" der "Cua de Cavall" mit etwa 80m Höhe. Etwa in der Mitte befindet sich ein Umsteiger. Allerdings kann hier der Seilabzug Probleme bereiten.
Dieser Steilabfall kann zur Rechten wie auch zur Linken umgangen werden.
Möglich ist auch, auf dem Absatz nach rechts zum benachbarten Racó de la Gralla zu wechseln (Pfad) und dort die attraktive Schlusspassage (unterhalb der 400m Lauf- und Abkletterstrecke) "mit zu nehmen".

Towards the exit, the "Cua de Cavall" awaits us in the "Gran Circ" with a height of around 80m. There is a transfer point roughly in the middle. However, the rope retrival can cause problems here.
This steep drop can be bypassed to the right or left.
It is also possible to turn right on the ledge to the neighboring Racó de la Gralla (path) and "take" the attractive final passage there (below the 400m walk and climb).
