Coming from Lleida, we take the C-13 via Balaguer and Tremp to Pobla de Segur (97.8 km). However, we do not go up to the right into the city here, but drive along the orographic. right bank of El Flamisell on the N-260 in a NNW direction to Senterada. Here we turn right onto the L-503 and drive 9 km north up the valley. There we park the lower car at the bridge over "our" stream.\n\nWith the second car we first go back again 400m to turn half-right up to Castell Estaó (4 km). We approach the village at last in a wide arc from the west. We park our car in the northern area.

From the north-eastern edge of the hamlet, take the path northwards over the slopes to the Barranc de Roi down to the stream and join it at the beginning of the gorge.
