Auf der SS 45 bis bei Toscolano Maderno, dann auf die Straße nach Gaino abbiegen. Durch Gaino und weiter gleichmäßig aufwärts. Die Straßewird zur Piste. Den Wegweisern zum "Rifugio Pirlo" folgen. Nach ca. 5 km kommt man an eine grüne Metallbrücke. Dort Auto abstellen.
Take the SS 45 until Toscolano Maderno, then turn onto the road to Gaino. Go through Gaino and continue steadily uphill. The road becomes a dirt road. Follow the signs to the "Rifugio Pirlo". After about 5 km you come to a green metal bridge. Park your car there.

Ein Ausstieg auf die Wasserableitung ist nicht ratsam, da der Kanal - oberhalb und parallel zum Torrente Toscolano - später durch lange Tunnels geführt wird.
