Von Kienberg nehmen wir den Pfad, der zunächst in Richtung NNO, später dann in östlicher Richtung hinaufführt zur Kienberg-Jagdhütte (1944 m üNN). Wir gehen den Steig weiter in Richtung OSO und queren, nachdem wir den Hahnleskopf (2210 m üNN) im Norden passiert haben (höchster Punkt des Steiges hier 2020 m üNN) in das anschließende Kar hinein und weglos hinunter zum Griesbach.
From Kienberg we take the path that leads first in the direction of NNO, then later in an easterly direction up to the Kienberg hunting lodge (1944 m a.s.l.). We continue on the path in the direction of OSO and, after passing Hahnleskopf (2210 m a.s.l.) in the north (highest point of the path here 2020 m a.s.l.), we cross into the following cirque and descend pathlessly to Griesbach.
