Wir fahren von Ainsa (Stadtmitte) auf der N-260 nach Broto 40,3 km bis zur Brücke über den Rio Ara. Von der Brücke fahren wir noch einmal 2,6 km auf der N-260 weiter und biegen dann in einer Linkskurve in nördlicher Richtung nach Torla. Wir passieren den Ort und kommen 4,8 km nach dem Abbiegen von der N-260 an eine Verzweigung, wo es rechts in den Arazas-Canyon geht. Wir biegen hier aber in das obere Rio Ara-Tal ab und fahren weitere 6,4 km bis zum Refugio de Bujaruelo. Dort stellen wir das Auto ab.

We drive from Ainsa (town center) on the N-260 to Broto for 40.3 km to the bridge over the Rio Ara. From the bridge we continue on the N-260 for another 2.6 km and then take a left turn in a northerly direction to Torla. We pass the town and 4.8 km after turning off the N-260 we come to a junction where we turn right into the Arazas Canyon. However, we turn off here into the upper Rio Ara valley and drive another 6.4 km to the Refugio de Bujaruelo. We park the car there.

Zu Fuß geht es nun über die Romanische Brücke von San Nicolas de Bujaruelo und jenseits den Weg bergauf. Er führt hinauf zum Grenzsattel Puerto de Bujaruelo und weiter auf der französischen Seite hinab in die Gavarnie. Auf 1630 m Höhe, unterhalb eines Leitungsmastes verzweigt sich der Weg, wir gehen links und kommen nach weiteren 160 Streckenmetern zum Bach (Einstieg).

We now cross the Romanesque bridge of San Nicolas de Bujaruelo on foot and follow the path uphill on the other side. It leads up to the Puerto de Bujaruelo border saddle and further down on the French side into the Gavarnie. At an altitude of 1630 m, below a pylon, the path branches off, we turn left and after another 160 meters we reach the stream (entry).

Im breiten Kiesbett am Ende des Canyons steigen wir auf den hier kreuzenden Pfad nach links aus und sind in wenigen Minuten bei der alten Brücke und dem Auto.

In the wide gravel bed at the exit of the canyon, we take the path that crosses here to the left and in a few minutes are at the old bridge and the car.
