From "Mirador de Ses Barques" the main road is closed by a gate and only residents, authorized people and customer of farmhouse "Balitx d'Avall" are allowed to pass. Otherwise follow the road and take the first descending road on the left and than follow the signs for the marked path, with some other open pedestrian gates, which will bring you back to the main road shortly after. From there follow it till the farmhouse "Balitx d'Avall", overcome it on the right and follow the streambed, which can appear dry, until it is joined by a tributary and usually the water flow appears right after the first pool.
From the lower parking lot "S'iletta de Can Gordo" follow the path towards the canyon, go over a gate before the second gate and descend briefly to the left to then immediately change to a beautiful path that runs horizontally over the cliffs. Follow the path until you reach a stone with red color markings, turn left down towards es Joncar, the exit from the sea, slightly uphill to the right the path leads to our ascent, the Pas d'es Heura. Follow the path into a saddle below a prominent rock tower (short climbing passage below a rock wall - do not climb up under the wall on the right). Behind the notch, descend fairly straight under the wall on the right, cross the valley and hike towards a rock amphitheater on the other side (cairns). If you only want to walk the lower part of the gorge, you can easily reach the stream here by descending through the valley. Climb over a rock ramp to the upper edge of the rock amphitheater and follow the climbing tracks and cairns for about 200m until you reach a sand road. Either follow this sand road uphill until another road branches off to the left, or onto the secondary ridge that drops into the Balitx valley on its right side and stay on it (stone wall) until you can descend to the right over steep forest terrain. You end up in a mostly dry side ditch which you follow to Na Mora.

Beautiful and not too demanding canyon with some nice pools to jump. The 1st part (until Cala Ferrera) is very open with only a few narrow sections. From the middle the canyon becomes increasingly narrow and continuous. If the water level allows it, you can do without the rope except for a few places (but just for descent) alternating jumps, downclimbs, slides and short swimming passages until you reach the sea.
Most pitches are equipped with fixed ropes that allow you to climb back over the ropes if the sea route is not possible. However, you should not rely on the presence of these ropes and take enough rope with you.

Option 1: once at the sea, swim out through a narrow channel, then turn left and swim through two bays before coming ashore in front of a 15m high rock (impossible even in moderate swell, so pay attention to the weather forecast), for an overall swimming distance of about 500m. In the erosion slope above the rock, a path begins that leads steeply and with difficulty back to the access path from "S'iletta de Can Gordo".
Option 2: return by boat, contact Sollermar which will wait for you at the canyon end and bring you back to Port de Soller; beware that there is bad mobile connection in the canyon and at the exit, so plan well in advance the timing and agree the collection time

Première partie "banale" mais qui devient sublime après l'échappatoire.retour par la mer par houle de 0.2 vraiment magnifique. 40min de nage jusqu'a es joncar. Les cairns ne sont pas visibles du premier coup, il faut être vigilant au niveau d'un gros rocher vertical d'une quinzaine de mètres de haut.

Bis auf einen kurzen trockenen Abschnitt schöne klare Becken und auch fließendes Wasser. Im ersten Teil fast alles springbar. Es hängen viele (teils beschädigte) Fixseile, 1x mussten wir selber aufbauen. Rückweg knapp 1km im Meer (Flossen waren hilfreich), dann auf den Wanderweg hochgekraxelt.
Except for a short dry part, nice clear pools and also running water. Almost everything is jumpable in the first part. There are many (partly damaged) fixed ropes, 1x we had to set up ourselves. The way back was just under 1 km in the sea (fins were helpful), then we scrambled up the hiking trail.

On s'est garé à Port de Soller et on est rentré à l intermédiaire pour ne faire que la partie basse. Il reste de l'eau dans les vasques mais ça commence à croupir. L'arrivée dans la mer est magnifique. On a nagé 1200 m pour arriver sur une plage de bloc où il était assez facile de sortir malgré une mer un peu formée.Ne pas hésiter à prendre des bonnes palmes.Partie basse équipée en fixe sur sa totalité, on pourrait imaginer de rentrer en mer pour accéder au bas du canyon et de le remonter.

Cordes fixes sur tout le canyon. Canyon avec vasques propres… mais pas eau qui coule. Sortie par la mer possible (prendre les palmes cela peut être un plus). Sortir de l’eau dès que possible, sur une petite plage de cailloux au bout de 500 ou 800 m de nage max, après difficile d’accoster… si vous dépassez une île c’est que vous avez nager trop loin.

Sec au début. Un petit filet d'eau dans la partie centrale. L'eau disparaît parfois pour réapparaître plus loin. La partie finale, la plus belle, ne coule pas. De ce fait la plupart des vasques sont pleines et propres, d'autres commencent à s'assécher mais la qualité de l'eau reste correcte. Nous sommes sortis par la mer, vraiment sympa. Départ du chemin trouvé sans problème, cairn. Par contre le retour à la voiture a été fastidieux. Les chemins sur la carte passent par des propriétés privees fermés par des barrières, des grillages et des barbelés. Il faut peut être préférer le retour vers Soller qui nécessite une navette. Nous avons changer les cordes qui le méritaient et placer des cordes là où il n'y en avait pas. Il reste une corde de 6m à changer éventuellement sur le dernier saut avant la mer. Nous pensions faire un aller retour. Un randonneur (20 sorties de Na Mora a son actif) croisé dans le canyon nous ayant conseillé de ne pas sortir par la mer nous avons laissé les anciennes cordes sur place. Ce serait sympa que le prochain les récupère pour les jeter.

Ein Traumtag. Obwohl kein fließendes Wasser mehr,waren die Pools noch gut mit Wasser gefüllt und ließen den ein oder anderen Sprung zu. Wasserqualität noch ok aber nicht mehr lang.
Ab dem Notausstieg dann im unteren Teil trocken aber trotzdem ein toller Schluchtabschnitt. Gegen Ende wieder gefüllte Pools mit nicht mehr guter Wasserqualität. Ausstieg ins türkise mehr. Und mit Boot zurück in den Hafen von Soller. Alles in allem ein mega Tag bei Sonne und blauen Himmel
A dream day. Although there was no more running water, the pools were still well filled with water and allowed a jump or two. Water quality still ok but not for long.
From the emergency exit onwards, the lower part was dry but still a great section of the gorge. Towards the exit, the pools filled up again and the water quality was no longer good. Exit into the turquoise more. And back to the port of Soller by boat. All in all, a mega day with sunshine and blue skies

Pour y accéder, il faut éviter au maximum la route et privilégier les sentiers, il y a de nombreuses portes barrées. Pas de débit, mais des bassins toujours pleins. Ils commencent à croupir, mais sont encore dans un état acceptable. Cordes fixes un peu partout, certaines endommagées, attention ! Retour en bateau au port de Sòller pour 20 € par groupe de 9. Numéro du batelier +34 626 89 24 93. Nous avons demandé une récupération en mer à mortitx, ils nous ont répondu que cela coûterait le double.

Beschreibung und teils auch GPS Punkte haben überhaupt nicht zusammen gepasst, war eine ziemliche Herumsucherei zwischen zig abgesperrten Wegen, mühsam.
Der canyon dann (trotz Regen am Vortag) entweder trocken oder mit grausig abgestandenen Becken gefüllt.
Seile für den Wiederaufstieg waren bis auf 2 Stellen in den letzten 7 Abseilstellen bis zum Ausstieg vorhanden.
Auch im oberen Teil waren viele Fixseile montiert.
The description and some of the GPS points didn't match at all, it was quite a search between umpteen closed off paths, tedious.
The canyon was then (despite rain the day before) either dry or filled with horribly stagnant pools.
Ropes for the ascent were available except for 2 places in the last 7 abseils to the exit.
There were also many fixed ropes in the upper part.

En eau la première moitié. Après l’affluent c’est sec et ça commence à croupir. Cordes en fixe OK. Il faut en rajouter 3 pour pouvoir remonter sur corde à partir du passage « souterrain ».
