From Grignasco, continue toward Borgosesia. After a few hundred meters, turn right onto a narrower road following the signs for Ara - Grotte di Ara (pass under a brick arch). Continue uphill until you reach the village of Ara, where you can park in the first parking lot.

Continue through the village, following the signs for "Grotte di Ara." You'll find a gate, but it's open. Continue on level ground for 5 minutes (trail 779) until you reach the Ara Caves park. Just before the bridge, follow a path on the left that passes above the park building (without entering the fence). After about a hundred meters, you'll find another bridge over the stream; enter here.

You immediately find the first C8dx, which leads to a beautiful narrow corridor. Immediately after, the stream enters a very characteristic small cave, and then under a beautiful rock arch. Then you find C12 (boulder in the center) and a bit of walking with some easy downclimbing and a possible dive. You reach the last C6sx+C10sx, the first one diving-able.

Then continue for 10 minutes along the stream until you find a path on the left that leads up to the caves (15 minutes), from here return to the outward path.
