Von Belluno auf der SS 203 Richtung Agordo. Nach Durchfahren der Ortschaft Mas (8 km ab Belluno) weiter in nördlicher Richtung am orograf. linken Ufer des Torrente Cordevole aufwärts. Etwa 5,5 km nach Mas kommt man zu den Häusern des Weilers Casa Candaten, wo westlich der Straße auch ein Wohnmobilstellplatz sowie ein Picnicplatz eingerichtet sind. Das Auto parkt man zweckmäßigerweise einige hundert Meter vor Erreichen der Häuser von Candaten in einem Seitenweg links der Straße (Sackgasse).

From Belluno on the SS 203 towards Agordo. After passing through the village of Mas (8 km from Belluno), continue north along the orographic left bank of the Torrente Cordevole. About 5.5 km after Mas you come to the houses of the hamlet of Casa Candaten, where there is also a camper van site and a picnic area to the west of the road. It is best to park your car a few hundred meters before reaching the houses of Candaten in a side path to the left of the road (dead end).

Den Torrente Cordevole durchqueren und auf den gegenüberliegenden Taleinschnitt des Valle delle Montarezze zuhalten. Hier kann man den Weg am Bach entlang hinter gehen und den Schlusswasserfall anschauen (wenn man will). Die Aufstiegsspur führt auf der orograf. rechten Hangkante hinauf, bis ein mit Gras überwachsener Weg waagrecht westwärts zum Einstieg zieht.

Cross the Torrente Cordevole and head towards the opposite valley cut of the Valle delle Montarezze. Here you can follow the path along the stream and see the final waterfall (if you want). The ascent trail leads up the orographic right edge of the slope until a path overgrown with grass runs horizontally westwards to the entry point.

6 Abseiler in direkter Folge ohne größere Gehstrecken. Angesichts der geringen Zustiegszeit lohnend. Die Stände sind, Stand Mai 2024, von unterschiedlicher Qualität. Das Valle delle Montarezze liegt im Parco Nazionale Dolomiti; die Begehung von Canyons wurde bisher geduldet, doch sollte man es nicht auf eine Begegnung mit den Rangern anlegen. Die Führung des A.I.C. verhandelt diesbezüglich schon geraume Zeit mit der Nationalparkverwaltung.

The Valle delle Montarezze is located in the Parco Nazionale Dolomiti; the ascent of canyons has so far been tolerated, but you should not risk an encounter with the rangers. The A.I.C. management has been negotiating with the national park administration for some time in this regard.

Nach dem letzten Wasserfall rechts hinaus, nach links über den Steg und dann durch den Torrente Cordevole zurück zum Auto.

After the last waterfall exit to the right, turn left over the footbridge and then through Torrente Cordevole back to the car.
