From Morbegno, take the SS38 heading south toward Lecco until you reach Colico. Just before joining the SS36, turn right following the signs for Como. After a few hundred meters, turn left onto the SS340 "Regina". Once in Colonno, drive past the houses and turn left onto the steep "Via per Cappella". Continue uphill until the first bend/hairpin turn and park.

From the parking area, walk uphill for 5 minutes to the end of the paved road and continue along a steep mule track. This path skirts past chalets, vegetable gardens, and orchards until reaching the chalets of Cambrianico at an altitude of 660 meters. Pass the group of chalets, continue along the mule track, and take one of the many faint trails on the left. Winding through the brambles, this path will lead you to an equally faint trail marked in red, which runs along the canyon just a few meters away. Follow this trail upstream until you cross the creek. Alternatively, you can set up a shuttle drive up to Pigra or take the cable car.

After the last rappel, exit onto the right bank, cross the small stone bridge, and follow a path that leads back to the parking area in a few minutes.
