Von St. Chamond aus nehmen Sie die D2 in Richtung La Valla-en-Gier und Le Par du Pilat. Kurz nach dem Staudamm von La Rive biegen Sie in einer Haarnadelkurve links ab in Richtung Le Soleil und Les Sagnes. Nach einigen Kilometern biegen Sie rechts ab in Richtung La Scie du Bost. Parken Sie auf dem Parkplatz am Bachufer, ohne den Verkehr zu behindern.
From St. Chamond, take the D2 in the direction of La Valla-en-Gier and Le Par du Pilat. Shortly after the La Rive dam, take a hairpin bend to the left towards Le Soleil and Les Sagnes. After a few kilometers, turn right towards La Scie du Bost. Park in the parking lot on the banks of the stream without obstructing traffic.

Gehen Sie hinauf zu den Gebäuden und biegen Sie dann links auf einen braun-weiß markierten Weg ab, der sich bis zum Fuß des Saut du Gier schlängelt. Steigen Sie über das Geröll hinauf, um einen Zugang zu den Wasserfällen zu finden (leichte Kletterpassage von 2 m).
Walk up to the buildings and then turn left onto a brown and white marked path that winds its way to the foot of the Saut du Gier. Climb up over the scree to find an access to the waterfalls (easy climbing passage of 2 m).

Ein erster Sprung am AN, ein 20 m hoher Wasserfall (AN rechts). Seilgeländer (AN), dann der Wasserfall „Saut du Gier“ (27 m), der am schönsten ist (AN rechts). Kein Risiko, jederzeit möglich, den Canyon zu verlassen
A first jump at the AN, a 20 m high waterfall (AN on the right). Rope traverse (AN), then the "Saut du Gier" waterfall (27 m), which is the most beautiful (AN right). No risk, possible to leave the canyon at any time

Genau wie auf der Hinfahrt, nur in umgekehrter Richtung!

Automatisch importiert von Descente-Canyon.com für Canyon Gier C'est mignon avec l'eau de ces derniers jours, ça fait une petite balade.Il n'y a plus la main courante avant la dernière cascade, amarrages encore en place.La cascade intermédiaire demanderait à être équipée en fixe, il y a une zone propice, cela permettrait à l'arbre de se libérer de son câble, qui commence à être un peu petit pour lui.
