Zugang vom Tal aus: Parken Sie am Ausgang der Schlucht an der Straße nach Faja Grande. Zugang vom Berg aus: Fahren Sie von Fajazinha aus auf der 2-2 weiter in Richtung Santa Cruz das Flores bis zum oberen Teil der Insel. Nachdem Sie den Oberlauf des Flusses, Ribeira Grande, passiert haben, gibt es links von der EN2-2a eine Kreuzung mit einem Feldweg. Folgen Sie diesem Weg 2 km und biegen Sie an der nächsten Kreuzung links ab. Überqueren Sie den Fluss Casas und parken Sie 1 km weiter an der Brücke, dem Ausgangspunkt.

Access from the valley: Park at the exit of the canyon on the road to Faja Grande. Access from the mountain: From Fajazinha, continue on the EN2-2 toward Santa Cruz das Flores to the upper part of the island. After passing the upper reaches of the Ribeira Grande River, you’ll find a junction with a dirt road on the left side of the EN2-2a. Follow this road for 2 km and turn left at the next intersection. Cross the Casas River and park 1 km further on at the bridge, which is the starting point.
