In Villacidro folgen wir den Schildern "Monti Mannu". So kommen wir an den Stausee Lago di Leni/Lago di Montmannu und fahren an seinem nördlichen Ufer entlang. Eine Brücke bringt uns an das andere Ufer eines Flussbettes. Wir fahren weiter am Ufer des Stausees entlang bis zu dessen südlicher Stauwurzel.Hier queren wir erneut ein Bachbett. Nach der Brücke biegen wir rechts ab auf eine Piste und folgen weiter der Wegweisung "Monti Mannu". Wir fahren dem Forstweg 5,5 km, vorbei an einer Häsergruppe zur Linken, später an einer Baumschule rechterhand. Links sehen wir edas Skelett eines Metallsteges über den Rio Cannisoni. Hier stellen wir das Auto ab.
In Villacidro we follow the signs "Monti Mannu". This brings us to the Lago di Leni/Lago di Montmannu reservoir and we ride along its northern shore. A bridge brings us to the other bank of a riverbed. We continue along the shore of the reservoir until we reach its southern root, where we cross another streambed. After the bridge, we turn right onto a dirt road and continue following the signs for "Monti Mannu". We follow the forest road for 5.5 km, passing a group of hares on the left, and later a tree nursery on the righthand side. On the left we see the skeleton of a metal footbridge over the Rio Cannisoni. Here we park the car.

Wir folgen der Piste - zugleich Wanderweg Nr. 109 - weiter, etwa 1,8 km (25 Min.). Wir kommen an eine Wegverzweigung und nehmen nun den Weg Nr. 113 (sentiero Piscina Irgas), der zuerst über einen Eisensteg läuft, danach dann steil nach oben zieht. Wir erreichen die Hochfläche und haben einren beeindruckenden Blick in den Granitkessel des Rio Oridda mit dem fast 40m hohen Wasserfall. Wir bleiben auf dem bisweilen undeutlichen Pfad Richtung Südwesten und kommen schließlich weglos links hinunter in's Bachbett des Rio Oridda.
We continue along the dirt road - also trail no. 109 - for about 1.8 km (25 min.). We come to a fork in the road and take path 113 (sentiero Piscina Irgas), which first walks over an iron bridge and then climbs steeply. We reach the plateau and have an impressive view of the granite basin of the Rio Oridda with the almost 40m high waterfall. We stay on the sometimes unclear path to the southwest and finally come down pathless left into the streambed of the Rio Oridda.

In einer Art Granitwanne laufen wir bis zun ersten Abseiler. Nach einigen weiteren Stufen erwartet uns der hohe Wasserfall. Danach ist wieder Laufen angesagt bis zur letzten größeren Stufe. Nach dieser am Bachrand abwärts bis zum linksufrigen Ausstieg auf den hier kreuzenden Weg.
We walk in a kind of granite tub to the first rappel. After a few more steps, the high waterfall awaits us. Then it's back to walking until the last major step. After this, descend along the edge of the stream to the exit on the left bank of the path that crosses here.
