Wir verlassen die A3 (Sargans-Zürich) über die Ausfahrt 49, Flums und fahren immer geradeaus durch Flums bis zum großen Fabrikgebäude links am Ende der Ortschaft (Spinnerei Spörri). Hier finden wir beidseits der Bergstraße Parkmöglichkeiten.\n\nNachdem wir hier ein Auto für den Ausstieg abgestellt haben, fahren wir mit dem zweiten Auto von der Bergstraße rechts ab auf die Kleinbergstraße und hinauf zum Weiler Portels. Nach den Häusern von Portels fahren wir eine Links-, danach eine Rechts-Serpentine. Vor der nächsten Linksserpentine können wir rechts unser Auto für den Zustieg abstellen (siehe Anfahrt und Umsetzung in Fotogalerie).

We leave the A3 (Sargans-Zurich) via exit 49, Flums and drive straight on through Flums until we reach the large factory building on the left at the end of the village (Spinnerei Spörri). Here we find parking facilities on both sides of the mountain road.\n\once we have parked one car here for the exit, we take the second car off the mountain road to the right onto Kleinbergstraße and up to the hamlet of Portels. After the houses of Portels we take a left, then a right serpentine. Before the next left serpentine we can park our car on the right for the access (see approach and implementation in photo gallery).

An der folgenden Linksserpentine nehmen wir rechts ab den Waldweg in Rictung "Frohe Aussicht". Wir queren eine erste Wiese und nehmen auf der zweiten Wiese kurs nach rechts zum Bach (Einstieg - siehe Zustieg in Fotogalerie).

At the next left turn we take the forest path to the right in the direction of "Frohe Aussicht". Cross the first meadow and on the second meadow turn right to the stream (entry - see access in photo gallery).

Zunächst überwinden wir eine Geschiebesperre und laufen dann in zunächst offenen Bachbett, bis sich der Bach einschluchtet. Nur einige wenige Abseiler, dazu Abklettern in einer beeindruckenden Schlucht in rotem Porphyr. Ausstieg bei der Straßenbrücke nach rechts.

First we overcome a boulder barrier and then walk in initially open streambed, until the stream narrows. Only a few rappels, plus downclimb in an impressive canyon in red porphyry. Exit at the road bridge to the right.
